US History II is one of my favorite classes. We learn history, obviously. My teacher for this class is Mrs. Gaven. We learn a lot of interesting things everyday. Mrs.Gaven always keeps the class under control and enforces an environment that is needed to learn properly. We learn about a lot of things, such as the post war boom, past presidential elections, the Cold War, the Kennedy years, the Civil Rights Movement, the Great Society and Vietnam.

We have learned a lot of things in US History II. This class is much more interesting than previous years. So far this year, we have learned about John F. Kennedy's death, and all the conspiracies surrounding it.

We have also learned about Malcom X, and how he changed his views on how racism should be handled after his trip to Mecca.

US History II has taught me a lot. I enjoy the projects we do, because I learn more about the past from completing them. I only expected to learn history and I expected it to be boring, but it is definitely not boring. We use technology when doing voice threads, web quests, and watching videos relating to what we are currently learning in class.
